Fundraising Success

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, children at Holme on Spalding Moor Primary School were keen to give something back to the Foundation and decided to raise some valuable funds.

After discussing the idea with the Headteacher, it was agreed that proceeds from the school's Christmas concerts would be split between much needed school funds and the Jean Freedman Foundation.

Children in Y3/4 also recorded and sold a CD with a Christmas track they had written and performed themselves.

Steve Woodhouse, Headteacher at the school said: 'It is great to be able to support the Foundation; the money we received has transformed our music provision in KS2. Hopefully our small donation will go towards helping another school in the future.'

The school raised £216.76 and has passed the money onto the Foundation.
