Jean Freedman Music Foundation Launch Form for Funding Music in Schools
Funding Form Launch
The Jean Freedman Music Foundation (JFMF) is launching a new form that schools can use to apply for funding to improve music lessons in their schools.
Further to our previous article announcing new availability of funding, thanks to support from organisations such as The Astor Foundation and Non Profit Growth, the new round of bidding for funding is now open.
The application form consists of a few questions such as details of the project and feedback from staff, as well as the medium-to-long term benefits the funding would have on the school and children.
Recent Projects
You only need to take a quick look at our Twitter, @JFMFoundation1, to see the positive impact that recent funding has had on our local schools.
Holme Valley Primary School recently used our funding to purchase keyboards and xylophones, enhancing music lessons across the school by providing a class set of each instrument.
Meanwhile, Carlton Primary School used their funding to bring in a music specialist each week, sending in a wonderful video of children singing in assembly.
