New Availability of Funding for Music in Schools

New Availability of Funding for Music in Schools

The Jean Freedman Music Foundation is excited to announce the availability of new funding for 2022, following the continued support of our charitable donors.

The New Year is off to a fantastic start for the foundation as we have gratefully received lots of new funding from a range of supporters.

Inspired by Passion for Music

One very generous donation was made by an individual who met Jean Freedman many years ago and was inspired by her passion to help young children experience music.

Astor Foundation

We would also like to thank The Astor Foundation for their kind donation. The Astor Foundation provide grants and funding for registered charities. They typically provide funding for medical research projects but also fund children's and youth group charities. Thank you for your support!

Non-Profit Growth

Finally, we would also like to thank Non-Profit Growth (NPG), who will be assisting us by helping us write bids for further funding. This includes identifying potential grant opportunities and supporting fundraising strategies, which will increase the amount of support we can provide to schools.

Bidding for Funding Now Open

This is very exciting as it allows us to open a new round of bidding for funding. This includes new bids and consolidation bids from our existing 18 schools – as well as two new places for new schools to join.
