As a church school, we take the inspiration for our curriculum intent from the following quote from the Bible; "I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness. "( John 10:10 ) What do we want a Leven child to look like?
Knowing themselves:
We aim for our children to leave us as resilient, organised, reflective learners who have high aspirations and are ready to move on to the next stage of their learning journey.
We aim for our children to recognise their‘s and others’ successes and achievements and for them to have self-belief.
Themselves, others and faith:
We aim for our children to build positive relationships and friendships based around respect, kindness, compassion, open-mindedness and a tolerance for others of similar and different backgrounds, cultures and faiths.
We aim for our children to be able to manage themselves and work with others through developing independence, team working and how to be safe and healthy.
Expressing themselves:
We aim for our children to have the confidence to describe who they are, what they can do well and display the values that create a caring and thoughtful community and society.
